This is a selection of our most frequently requested Steplift and Wheelechair Platform Stairlift solutions.
As an independent company, we are able to source equipment from almost any manufacturer for almost any situation.
Our team of consultant engineers will work with you to establish the best solution to your access issue and ensure the most cost-effective and highest quality equipment is procured.
Steplifts
For low rise travel, these are the ideal alternative to often impractical ramps.
Easy to install and taking up relatively little space, they are usually installed next to existing steps and remove this barrier to full accessibility.
Travel from 1000mm to 2100mm. Full safety edge and under platform proximity sensors. Manual descent in case of power loss. Emergency stop. Electromechanical locks with security locking.
Wheelchair Platform Stairlifts
Our range of inclined platform lifts provide the ideal access solution for public or commercial buildings which do not have space for a vertical platform or passenger lift.
Designed to carry a single person safely over a flight of stairs or steps with the user being either in a wheelchair, or using the optional fold down seat.

Installation
The lifts can be installed on both straight and curved stairs and steps either fixed to the wall, using stanchions bolted directly into the steps themselves or a combination of the two allowing fixing to most buildings. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use, the lifts are weatherproof, but can be supplied with optional covers to keep them clean when not being used.
A typical installation will take between 1 and 2 days for a straight run and 3 to 5 days for a more complex curved run.
The lifts are compact and fold neatly away when not in use allowing the stairway to be used with minimal intrusion.
User Convenience
All lifts can be single user operated. The call for the lift is from a wall mounted call station. On arrival the platform and arms are automatically deployed and the ramp lowered. When ready to travel the user starts the journey by holding the button down and must keep pressing the button until the end of the journey. This is in accordance with EN81-40 Safety rules for the construction and installation of lifts and with the latest Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. On arrival the user exits and the platform can then be automatically folded away or sent back to another parking point. There are clear directional displays as well as optional voice and sound announcers. If an attendant is required, wireless remote controls are available for the attendant to control the lift from a distance. |

Safety Safe edges, which react to pressure, ensure that there are no traps, crush or snag incidents when the lift journey is in progress, for example an obstruction on a step. There is also an emergency stop button as well as the constant pressure required to move the lift. Should there be a power failure, the lift will continue its journey under battery power. Design With slim profiles and retractable arms the lifts are unobtrusive when parked. However, if the user wishes, they can be customised with different colour palettes and also bespoke designs on the platform base, visible when folded and parked. LED lights are also available in different colours to suit branding or the space in which the lift is installed. The top rail of the lift is designated a clean rail and can be used as a handrail for other users when the lift is parked and not in use. Different platform sizes are available, weight limit between 225Kg – 300Kg with maximum travel 30m or 5 landings (further can sometimes be achieved with additional power). |
